Mr. Buaron has over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector. In 1998 he founded First Atlantic Real Estate Group (FARE Group), a real estate asset management firm based in Milan, Italy, and was its CEO until 2012. During his tenure, the FARE Group invested €3.4 billion of equity in association with a major US investment group in assets with total acquisition costs of €6.7 billion. Prior experience includes roles as founder, CEO, and Vice Chairman of Tradital S.p.A., a real estate development and project finance company within the IMI San Paolo banking group, and CEO of Metropolis S.p.A., the management company for the real estate owned by the Italian national railway company, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A. Mr. Buaron began his career at the Chase Manhattan Bank in Milan in 1972 and spent three years in the M&A department of J.P. Morgan in New York. He holds a graduate degree from Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Corkhill joined First Atlantic Real Estate in April 2017, and is responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing real estate investments in the US. Prior to joining FARE, he sourced and managed acquisitions for MCAP Advisers, a private equity firm that specializes in senior housing and multifamily investments.
After completing his graduate studies, Mr. Corkhill was a Managing Director in the capital markets group at Savills providing advice and analysis on investment sales, debt and equity placement, and strategic reviews for institutional clients. Prior to graduate school, he was with the National Electrical Benefit Fund (“NEBF”), a $12 billion pension fund that invested in real estate development transactions throughout the country. At NEBF Mr. Corkhill managed the underwriting of equity and debt investments. Prior to his experience with NEBF, he was an Analyst with Sunrise Senior Living in their transactions group, where he conducted financial analysis on development transactions, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Corkhill received a B.A. in Economics from Loyola College in Maryland and a M.S. in Real Estate Finance and Investments from New York University.
Ms. Bianchi joined the FARE Group in 2000 and became a Managing Director in 2006. In 2009, she became General Manager of the FARE Group’s fund management company, where she was part of the leadership team that managed for the management of six real estate funds with AUM of over €3.2 billion. Ms. Bianchi has extensive experience in real estate transactions, financing and structuring and has been closely involved in all the FARE Group investments, with specific focus on due diligence, valuations, and contract negotiations. Prior to joining First Atlantic Real Estate, Ms. Bianchi was director of the Acquisitions department of Pirelli Real Estate S.p.A. She also worked as a consultant in the Audit department of Reconta Ernst & Young. Ms. Bianchi holds a graduate degree in Business Administration and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.
Mr Buaron’s background combines investment experience with extensive consulting and management expertise. Prior to founding First Atlantic Capital in 1989, Mr. Buaron was a senior partner with Overseas Partners Inc., a middle market private equity firm. From 1983 to 1986, Mr. Buaron was a general partner of First Century Partnership, a venture capital firm focusing on a wide range of early and later stage investments. Prior to joining First Century, Mr. Buaron was a partner in the New York office of McKinsey & Company, Inc. During his nine-year tenure at McKinsey, he counseled senior management teams at several Fortune 500 companies on ways to improve their strategic position and operating performance. Mr. Buaron has a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan, an M.B.A. from INSEAD in France, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. His publications include the influential article “How to win the market share game? Try changing the rules,” originally published in Management Review.
Mr. Patricola joined First Atlantic Capital in April 2008, following six years as a director in the Citigroup investment banking division. At Citigroup, Mr. Patricola directed financial reporting for major Citigroup subsidiaries engaged in commercial and consumer lending, leasing, structured finance including municipal bond and loan securitizations, retail brokerage, proprietary trading in equities, fixed income securities as well as related hedging transactions. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Patricola spent twelve years at Prudential Securities Inc., where he held several senior positions including director of accounting, director of corporate tax, and senior vice president for regulatory reporting. Earlier in his career, Mr. Patricola was a controller at several hedge funds, and spent four years as a senior auditor with Arthur Young & Company. Mr. Patricola holds an M.B.A. in Accounting from Baruch College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Kapoor joined First Atlantic in February 2010, after working at various mid-size CPA firms as a tax accountant for their corporate, partnership and high net worth individual clients. In addition to serving various reporting needs of the clients, she was also involved with certified audits, reviews and compilation engagements of the firm while supervising junior staff and dealing with tax authorities at both federal and state level. At First Atlantic, Ms. Kapoor has been responsible for maintaining the books and records of First Atlantic Capital, Ltd. and First Atlantic Real Estate LLC. Divya graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baruch College, New York in the year 2000 and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Re joined First Atlantic Real Estate (Milan) in 2013, and is responsible for the structuring and management of investments. From 2011 to 2012, he led the analyst team of IDeA FIMIT SGR, the leading asset management company in Italy, and was responsible for the development and management of the business plans of all real estate funds of the firm. From 2007 to 2011, as part of the analyst team of FARE Group, he was involved in the structuring and start-up of four new real estate funds and a number of acquisitions including that of the flagship store La Rinascente – Milan, the largest ever single asset transaction in Italy. Mr Re began his career as an analyst in the real estate banking team at Lehman Brothers (Milan). He holds a graduate degree in Economics & Finance from Bocconi University.

Mr. Sosne joined First Atlantic Real Estate in August 2020, and is responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing real estate investments in the US. Prior to joining FARE, Mr. Sosne sourced new and managed existing investments for DHA Capital, a New York based firm that specializes in the development of luxury residential and commercial properties.
Upon completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Sosne began his career in the acquisitions group at Sugar Hill Capital Partners where he managed investment sourcing, underwriting, execution and asset management. During his time with Sugar Hill, Mr. Sosne helped close on over 75 real estate transactions totaling $450M in total capitalization. Mr. Sosne received a B.A. in Economics and in International Relations summa cum laude from Brown University in Rhode Island and a General Course degree from the London School of Economics.
Mr. Long joined First Atlantic in 1991 and was a managing director of the firm until [2008] when he became Senior Advisor. Mr. Long has more than 30 years of experience in identifying, acquiring and selling businesses. Prior to joining First Atlantic Capital, Mr. Long was an executive vice president and a member of the executive and operating committees of Primerica Corporation (formerly American Can Company), where he worked from 1975 to 1989. Mr. Long was a key member of the team that restructured Primerica from a capital intensive, manufacturing concern into a dynamic financial services and specialty retailing organization. He had significant responsibility for identifying and implementing over 80 acquisitions and divestitures with an aggregate value in excess of $6 billion. From 1970 to 1975, Mr. Long was Director of Acquisitions for The Sperry and Hutchinson Company. Mr. Long holds an M.B.A. from the Columbia Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
